Meet Ann Marie
In her role as Director with Scatena Daniels, Ann Marie works closely with established philanthropic organizations in San Diego to bring their public relations goals to fruition. She enjoys the diverse opportunities and challenges that come her way, and each day is a unique experience.
Ann Marie’s eye for detail and organizational prowess are, in a word, unmatched. She has a noticeable air of tranquility about her, which comes in handy, particularly when she is collaborating with media on deadline or providing media training to clients.
As the team’s longest tenured employee, Ann Marie is a go-to resource for her clients and teammates. Her 10+ years of experience in public relations have made her a walking encyclopedia of industry best practices, strategy and media contacts.
Ann Marie is a San Diego native and enjoys spending time with her husband and son frequenting their usual haunts of Balboa Park, Seaport Village and South Park, where Ann Marie loves discovering new local businesses to support.
She is currently the board secretary for the San Diego Association of Black Journalists, and previously served as a board member of PRSA San Diego's board of directors. Ann Marie's work has been honored by the San Diego Press Club's Excellence in Journalism awards program and by PRSA San Diego Bernays awards program. She also received the PRSA San Diego 2015 New Professional of the Year Award.
