"I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it." - Maya Angelou
SAN DIEGO (May 5, 2020) — Scatena Daniels has been at the forefront of the COVID-19 crisis supporting our philanthropy-focused clients as they serve the San Diego County community. Just as they have had to adjust their operations during the "stay-at-home" order, our team has had to quickly pivot our communication strategies for clients. We’ve also had to adjust to the new realities of news production in order to get valuable information out to the public. In the first 6 weeks of the pandemic, our team has secured and managed more than 60 media interviews for our clients.
And now we want to put our expertise to work for three (3) organizations at no charge! We are honored to launch The Resilience Project, a scholarship program providing up to five (5) hours of strategic guidance with a high-level plan as a takeaway. Our hope is to find organizations that have a true spirit of resilience. With our support, they can be successful in helping them navigate their current effects of COVID-19, and as our society "re-opens" in the coming weeks and months.
Submissions will be accepted May 5 through 29, with the organizations being selected by June 5. The collaboration will begin no later than June 15.
The Resilience Project Requirements:
- San Diego County-based applicants only.
- Not open to current or previous clients.
- Must be a nonprofit 501(c)3, 501(c)4 or 501(c)6.
- Additional limitations may apply.
We are looking forward to sharing our expertise. Questions can be directed to email@example.com.
